This year, our doctor, Barbara Ptačnik, enrolled in the postgraduate program for lifelong education known as the "Aesthetic Academy." This program is led by the Medical Faculty of Rijeka (MEDRI) and the Medical Esthetic Institute (MEI). It is conducted in collaboration with the Croatian Society for Aesthetic Medicine of the Croatian Medical Association, the South East Europe Facial Aesthetic Society, and the Special Hospital Thalassotherapia Opatija.

The new program, MEDRI and MEI's - "Aesthetic Academy", encompasses in-depth knowledge and skills for the theoretical and practical application of various methods and strategies in aesthetic medicine. The competencies acquired will enhance the quality and safety of treatments, as well as improve the control and management of potential complications arising from such procedures. Participants will develop the ability to properly assess the needs of patients. The program is designed for all medical doctors and dental doctors who lack specialized training in this field, as well as for doctors with completed specialized training who wish to further enhance and refine their knowledge and skills in this area.
