Botox

WHAT IS BOTOX?
Botox is a natural protein without long-term side effects. It removes fine and deep wrinkles, improves facial and eye contours, and its effect is visible within a few days, without the fear of a surgical knife. Botox effectively eliminates wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines, and fine lines around the eyes. Additionally, it can remove wrinkles on the nose, lift eyebrows, corners of the mouth, and tighten the neck.

WHY DO WE USE BOTOX TREATMENTS?
Wrinkle removal: wrinkles around the eyes, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, bunny lines on the nose. It can be used for eyebrow lifting, lifting the corners of the mouth, tightening the skin around the chin, rejuvenating the neck, shaping and narrowing facial contours.
In dental medicine, it is often used for treating bruxism (teeth grinding) and the treatment of a gummy smile (excessive display of gums). In medicine, it is known as a treatment for migraines and for excessive sweating under the armpits, palms, and soles.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?
The treatment lasts only 5-10 minutes. The application of a pain relief cream before treatment is possible, but the needles are so thin that there is hardly a need for it. Before applying Botox to each patient, we examine the function of individual muscles involved in facial expression. After precise identification of the muscles that create unwanted wrinkles through strong action, Botox is applied with a thin needle. The muscles relax over time as Botox blocks the pathway of nerve impulses to the muscle. The skin covering these muscles tightens and smoothens because the remaining active muscle is tense, thus eliminating wrinkles.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
The treatment is quick and practically painless.

HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT OF BOTOX LAST?
The results of Botox become visible within 2-7 days, and the effect should last about 3-6 months. If the patient regularly repeats treatments, the muscles gradually decrease, thereby extending and improving the aesthetic effect of the treatment. Recent studies have shown that in patients treated with Botox for years, wrinkles can be completely erased.

DOES IT LOOK NATURAL?
Most patients say that people around them say they look fresh, healthy, and rested. The purpose of this treatment is to provide patients with the desired natural and younger appearance within perfectly appropriate aesthetic boundaries.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS?
It is necessary to mention that most of these side effects are harmless, and according to the results of numerous Botox treatments, we are aware that their presence is not long-lasting.
Side effects are rare in Botox treatments. If complications occur, there are no long-term effects of side effects! Approximately one hour after Botox application, the patient may have small red protrusions at the injection sites that will disappear within an hour. Headache, tightness, bruising, and a feeling of heaviness are rare side effects, and if they occur, they disappear within a few days.
Additional possible complications include drooping eyelids, allergic reactions, and facial asymmetry.

RECOVERY AND INSTRUCTIONS AFTER TREATMENT?

Do not massage the face and avoid cosmetic cleaning of the face or excessive pressure on the treated areas for one week after the procedure. Also, avoid underwater diving and wearing motorcycle helmets, hats, and hairbands.
