WHAT IS DERMAPEN TREATMENT?
Dermapen is one of the most popular anti-aging treatments in the world, designed for natural skin rejuvenation. It helps in treating skin conditions characterized by loss of elasticity, atrophy, and promotes skin renewal, tightening, and rejuvenation. It stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks. It can be applied to all parts of the body, most commonly the face, neck, décolletage, upper arms, or the dorsal side of the hands, resulting in visibly tightened and rejuvenated skin.

Dermapen contains a multitude of single-use micro-needles, and the treatment is based on a large number of skin punctures that create micro-traumas at the desired depth of the skin. This stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin, important for skin renewal and improvement in skin quality. Through this natural process of skin regeneration, the skin becomes visibly rejuvenated.

Compared to other products that use micro-needles, Dermapen has a special vertical angle of puncture, which increases effectiveness and reduces the possibility of skin damage. Due to the vertical angle of puncture, micro-needles can be used more effectively and safely on hard-to-reach areas such as the skin around the eyes, nose, and lips.

HOW IS THE PATIENT PREPARED?
It is recommended to remove makeup, creams, and other preparations from the area to be treated before coming to the clinic. The doctor further cleanses the face with special disinfectants to ensure a clean surface. Before treatment, an anesthetic cream is applied to the face to reduce pain and discomfort.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
The treatment is minimally to moderately painful, depending on the skin sensitivity and the facial region being treated.

WHAT DOES DERMAPEN TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?
The treatment begins with an examination and analysis of the skin and a discussion about the skin problem you want to solve. The micro-needles of Dermapen are passed over the agreed area of the face or body, creating a multitude of small vertical punctures. This stimulates collagen production and facilitates the penetration of vitamin cocktails. After the treatment, the skin is radiant and fresh, followed by a pleasant facial massage with premium nourishing preparations. The duration of the treatment depends on the surface area of the skin being treated and the issue being addressed. For one treatment, including preparation, skin cleansing, and soothing mask, it takes about an hour, while the micro-needle treatment itself lasts an average of 20 minutes.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT AND HOW TO BEHAVE?
After the treatment, the skin will be warmer to the touch than usual, which is a normal reaction and should subside within 1-2 hours for mild anti-aging treatments, or within 24 hours for deeper scar and stretch mark treatments. The staff will recommend appropriate skin care to avoid possible inflammation. After the treatment, avoid exposure to the sun, saunas, pools, tanning beds, abrasive products, medications, self-tanning products, and the like for at least the first 48 hours to prevent additional irritation. Mesotherapy with Dermapen is not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, people with epilepsy, diabetics, and oncology patients.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DERMAPEN TREATMENT:

For the first 24 hours after the treatment, do not touch your face (especially with dirty hands), do not apply any creams and serums to the skin of the face, and do not wash your face with any harsh facial cleansers (you can wash your face with lukewarm water without cleanser after 10 hours from the treatment).
After the treatment, be sure to change your pillowcase and sleep on a clean pillowcase!
After the first 24 hours, you can start washing your face with MILD cleansers (best for sensitive skin) without any active ingredients (acids, etc.) and you can apply a clean hyaluronic serum and mild moisturizing cream.
Do NOT USE creams, serums, and cleansers containing actives and perfumes (retinol, AHA, BHA, etc.) for the first 4 days. It is best to use a cleanser, hyaluronic serum, and moisturizing cream for sensitive skin!
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, and pools for at least the first 48 hours!
The skin will be sensitive to the sun for the next 2 weeks, so it is mandatory to apply SUNSCREEN before going out!
Do not apply makeup for at least the first 24 hours, ideally 48 hours. If makeup is applied after 24 hours, WASH all brushes and makeup sponges!
Do not do facial peels for the first 2 weeks after the procedure!
After 4 days from the procedure, you can slowly start introducing your usual creams and serums into your routine, always carefully! Monitor the skin!
We recommend not to do heavy physical exercises for the first 48 hours!

WHEN ARE THE RESULTS VISIBLE?
Since the method stimulates natural regenerative processes at a precisely determined depth of the skin, the results come over time and gradually improve. Regeneration processes can last up to a year after the last micro-needle treatment. For optimal results, it is recommended to have at least 3 treatments at monthly intervals, and the maintenance phase involves repeating treatments every few months (3-5 months). The final result is smoother, visibly refreshed, and rejuvenated skin. Along with Dermapen treatment, a mesotherapy cocktail tailored to the skin's needs is used, providing additional hydration and care, especially after winter months when dry air causes skin dryness.
